I am missing the Colorado snow storms right now. I am *not* however, missing driving in them. Enjoy the power days Colorado.
Another shot from the Zion narrows. The narrow walls bounce light beautifully on the water.
How about another shot from Kebler Pass in Colorado? This was taken just before sunrise mid-October. There are excellent aspens on this pass. I highly recommend driving this road during the fall.
Another from Zion National Park. A maple tree cluster off the trail climbing up to observation point. It's getting cold in the southwest and it is almost time to head to Death Valley to warm up!
Descending from Kebler Pass in Colorado, the fresh snow complimented the changing fall colors beautifully. The view from the vista that day was phenomenal. I greatly enjoy the lines in this shot.
I've taken many blurred exposures of aspens and am always surprised at the patience required to get a decent shot. This one caught my attention for the faint form of the aspen leaves over the more blurred trunks. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed shooting it.
Autumn in Colorado is hard to top. After returning from Chicago, I promptly drove to Kebler Pass (near Crested Butte) to photograph the fall colors. I had one morning of good shooting before the first winter storm of the season hit. Needless to say, a two-wheel drive vehicle on a Colorado mountain pass do not take well to one another during a whiteout. But that's another story for another day...
